What do you thin about the medical commissioning programs?

I am very interested in the Navy's MECP (Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program), and was looking for insight (I have already been over the instruction for it), that anyone may be able to provide. If you have applied to the program why? If you would never apply why not? I know other branches more than likely have this opportunity as well and your inputs would also be greatly appreciated. For those that have applied and were not picked up would you try again (if you didn't) and why or why not? Thank you.

While I am not familiar with the Navy program, I can tell you that in the past six years I have helped seven enlisted Airmen get into the Air Force's Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program (NECP), and I have heard great feedback from every one of them.

The NECP allows Airmen to remain on active duty and get paid while they are attending nursing school, plus anyone selected for NECP gets their tuition and fees paid up to $15,000 per year, plus a textbook allowance of $600 per year.

It is a great program and the competition to get into it is pretty fierce.

I do not know much about MECP, I do know know about spelling errors. I thin spell check wouldn't help either in your case.

I'm pretty sure that is right, lol.Glen in my case but I'm not looking at medical
