I paid my business loan off pretty quickly (couple of months) and it actually hurt my score because I did not leave it open long enough. I try to pay cash for everything. Simply having credit reports ran on you will drive down your credit score, even if you don't take on debt after the credit report is ran. Only let someone run a report on you when you're ready to pull the trigger. LTC Kevin B. My best advice is pay cash and have no debt except a 15 year fixed rate mortgage. SFC Don Vance Fri, 05 Aug 2016 00:55:18 -0400 2016-08-05T00:55:18-04:00 2016-08-03T20:50:32-04:00
