Make sure you don&#39;t have milk products the morning of your APFT. If you do any exercise today, I think you will be too tight for the apft. You could do some stationary bike riding to get some cardio but running or treadmill will make you sore. Don&#39;t drink anything with suguar. powerade zero instead of regular soda or sugary drinks. Don&#39;t skip meals. Eat light cereal in the morning. Have a light meal for lunch and dinner. No snacking before bed. Maybe a banana for dessert. Take vitamins and make sure you get plenty of rest. Get up a few hours before the P.T. test if it is in the morning. That will make you less tight. If you ate poorly, it&#39;s a good bet that you have high amounts of salt and carbs in your system and are nutritionally imbalanced. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies over the next few days. <br /><br />Passing the test is passing. Do your best and write this one off (at least pass it). You have several months of great weather ahead to retrain and get back to where you want to be before your fall APFT. I don&#39;t know about you, but I have always done better in the fall for that reason. I also tend to do worse in April because I have been relatively dormant all winter long. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 03 Jun 2018 17:45:23 -0400 2018-06-03T17:45:23-04:00 Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Jun 3 at 2018 5:52 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-do-you-normally-do-to-get-back-in-the-swing-of-things-for-an-apft-after-a-week-of-terrible-eating-and-no-pt?n=3682014&urlhash=3682014 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Should have exercised every other day- now you may have a problem SGM Bill Frazer Sun, 03 Jun 2018 17:52:12 -0400 2018-06-03T17:52:12-04:00 Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Jun 4 at 2018 12:12 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-do-you-normally-do-to-get-back-in-the-swing-of-things-for-an-apft-after-a-week-of-terrible-eating-and-no-pt?n=3682707&urlhash=3682707 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It&#39;s been a week.
