What do you guys think of "bronies" being in the military?

A little bit of info, a brony is a person, typically a male that enjoys my little pony but is outside the targeted age demographic. I just want to get a feeling on what the general military publics opinions are.

As long as you are performing your duties while you're in uniform, I could care less what fan cult you prescribe to! Bronies are actually quite funny to be around! Have a friend that wears a set of MLP underwear to every special event in his life! Haha he says they are lucky... But he's still a soldier first!

Personally I think people shouldn't be judged on what they like or don't like. Some guys like MLP and others don't. So idk why people are being excluded because of what they like. Everyone is serving their country so why should it matter? BTW I'm a brony and don't care. I have a daughter and she loves my little pony.

What you do with your time when you're off duty is your business, as long as it's legal.

Now, if you start talking to me at work about which My Little Pony is my favorite (my kid watches the show), don't expect an overly enthusiastic debate about the virtues of Pinkie Pie vs. Twilight Sparkle!

I had a soldier at my last unit that was a Furry. (Dressed up like an animal, He called it his avatar.) Never impeded in his work and showed up to every sports day (when no set uniform was directed). Great soldier, he just really liked being a fox...

It's funny you would ask this!

I was at a adult birthday party and someone got him "The Simpson's" series on DVD. He proceeded to play it on his massive TV and the "party" went from 100 to 0 in a nanosecond....

I personally don't care what you do on your own time, but don't ask me to participate.

As long as it doesn't affect their work, I have no issues with it. I will admit I find it very strange though.
