What do you give a male spouse at his spouse's Change of Command?

I know that flowers red and yellow are the gift normally offered to a spouse at a Change of Command, is this the same for a male spouse?

Why should there be a difference? If my wife was given command, I wouldn't be upset by flowers.

I often buy flowers just for the hell of it. Makes a good dinner table center piece.
