None of them were ever in any CG's pocket. Detailed inspectors general must even swear a special oath that they will uphold the regulations without prejudice or partiality. I dealt with some crooked IGs (same office) before. It took only once and I already knew what was up. But NCOs in my unit at the time got burned pretty bad with a lot of reprisal from it. All over the fact same soldiers were pulling CQ/Staff Duty over and over like 3x in a week. It was a hot mess.
