By adding them into the decision making to solve the issue at hand, I have found most people will get actively engaged in the discussion and this in itself will start the foundation of building the team. Worst case scenario, get another team.Response by Cpl James Waycasie made Sep 8 at 2015 4:49 AM2015-09-08T04:49:01-04:002015-09-08T04:49:01-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member949226<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I personally like to abandon all hope, and find a place to take a nap.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 8 at 2015 7:29 AM2015-09-08T07:29:10-04:002015-09-08T07:29:10-04:00MAJ Jim Steven949240<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Lead by example, be an example of the change you want to see - and understand that some people are not going to follow youResponse by MAJ Jim Steven made Sep 8 at 2015 7:45 AM2015-09-08T07:45:50-04:002015-09-08T07:45:50-04:00GySgt John O'Donnell949271<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm guessing your not married with kids (haha). <br /> No seriously, you need to find a team building exercise which requires everyone to work together "individually" to the point of failure. Then build the group together "will the all for one, and one for all" attitude to achieve success. The education system across the United States is failing, and he's worried that those receiving leadership training and mentorship will choose options the may fit there life best beyond high school.
