I well-remember the oppressing boredom that can overtake military personnel while deployed. In Vietnam, we had bug fights. Throw two bugs in a papercup, shake them around, place your bets, and toss them into the ring. After watching this, I may just include a few bags of marbles in my next care package to the men and women on the front lines. Hey, it's better than just sitting around drinking, isn't it?

Maintaining my 100% win record on Freecell with several 1000 games played... Oh yes, I left one game open for days till I can figure it out! If I lose, I clear the stats and start over. Haven't reset the stats now for over a year!

We shot flies with rubber bands in Cairo West. Got so good at it we then tried it blind folded while a spotter made corrections. Success rate dropped significantly.

Well the first thing I DONT do is let the WIFE know I'm bored believe me she can find plenty for me to do more in fact than some First Sergeants I had!and with none of the niceties they showed hah!

It has been a long time since I was really bored CPT Jack Durish. I have seen a significant amount of death and suffering the past few years. Yesterday afternoon we comforted the grieving parents of a young veteran who was killed elsewhere and his body dumped near Martinsburg, WV VAMC in the room he rented from one of my sons who lives there. Heroin and opioid overdoses have been taking out young people and veterans of varied ages in this area for some time.
One day the death will peak but that seems to be somewhere in the future.
I recognize this was meant to a humorous post but I consider you to be both a friend and a supporter of veterans.

This looks interesting, and I can see the designs getting more complex with more props at each race.
