What do you do to avoid the winter blues?

Living in Lake Placid,NY gives winter a new outlook. It's tourist season and the mountains packed! Not a huge cold weather fan so I figured I'd keep about 20 new books on backup on the kindle and enjoy the cold with the best of em! What's everyone's go to winter activity?

Anything diesel and more use of the reloading bench. It's a matter of staying busy and enjoying what you do. It's 17 out and I made sure the 2 seater is heated. Doing donuts in the pasture is more than fun.

Tomorrow night I drive from DC Metro to lovely Orlando, FL to run the Dopey Challenge in Disney World. It's supposed to be 55-80 degrees!

I've found being as active as possible is best, especially living in New England where it can be cold and dark for a good portion of the year. The last few years I've gotten a little more serious about skiing, as well as taken up snowshoeing and ice fishing. I highly recommend all of these activities to anyone feeling seasonal cabin fever.

I do not like the cold weather, but normally I pick up a book and read or watch some of my favorite stuff on Netflix. As far as active stuff goes, yoga.

Ice fishing. In an ice house not out on the ice. That way you can fish, drink beer and not freeze your tosh off.

Hmmm, shovel or blow the snow off my 70 yard drive way to keep fit. (I've cleared or had cleared about 7 feet of snow this year so far.) I may go skiing if I can find the time.
