I guess since a "coat" to most people is something you wear to keep warm, and not just all the time. It was always just a "top" or "blouse" to use regardless of whether it was a BDU, DCU, or ACU.Response by SGT Christopher Hayden made Oct 20 at 2017 2:37 AM2017-10-20T02:37:37-04:002017-10-20T02:37:37-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member3017186<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Whether in OCP or UCP (Digital) it's all ACU, and I call it Top or Blouse but I guess Coat is fine. I suspect this is an old-school term left over from the Army Air Corps days. Also, heard "jacket" used often. I'm sure the logistics agencies have a nomenclature for it.Response by Lt Col Jim Coe made Oct 20 at 2017 12:09 PM2017-10-20T12:09:09-04:002017-10-20T12:09:09-04:00COL Private RallyPoint Member3019934<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's a blouse.
