We had one last week here on Whiteman, call it Wingman Day or CAF day, either way it's the same thing. The original intent was to make them a day to brush people up on things like SAPR, bettering your PT, etc. Things to help develop you as an Airman. To me they are nothing much more than a joke becoming a day intended to boost Airmen's morale while realistically causing it to drop as the events are usually mandated because they know people wouldn't attend otherwise. Luckily I am on goofy shifts and wasn't expected to mess with my schedule to accommodate it but I have heard of people being forced to attend regardless of their shift.<br /><br />I feel their intentions with the events are good but the execution of the events is handled very poorly.
