I'm glad I left the republican party long ago. I saw the swelling extremism and lack of morals.

Cloak and dagger 101. The illegal Fourth Branch of gov't, the INTEL/INFO Branch, which controls the other three legitimate branches of gov't, strikes again! They have managed to accuse Donald Trump of being a threat to democracy, at the same time removing the choice of candidate for millions of Americans by forcing out the candidate they voted for in the primaries. If he's not able to perform the duties of President going forward from July 21, then he wasn't able on July 20, 19, 18 . . . January 20, 2021. Remember he didn't want to run in 2016, he was too incompetent then, so Killery ran. He campaigned from a basement in 2020. A special investigator said he was too feeble to stand trial for the classified document crimes he committed. Yet he's "sharp as a tack," and "never been better" just a few short weeks ago. Joe Biden was everything to the Democrats 48 hours ago, now he's nothing? Then remove him now! Kamala becomes President until January 20, and the Dems get to nominate two entirely new people at their convention in a month. But is that democracy? Meanwhile, we almost had a candidate for President ASSASSINATED. That has to be priority number one. Contact your Congressional Representatives now and tell them we must have total transparency on the investigation into Trump's near assassination immediately, no matter where it takes us. If it's the Alphabet Soup Secret Squirrel Shadow Warrior Spooks, then so be it. It is reckoning time.

So sad when we have some many "regular people" who could do the job at least in our Legislative branch. Experience - long experience in politics - does not always provide us with candidates who care more about our nation than their power of position.

The Biden Administration gave us the most bipartisan legislation since FDR. Time to send Trump to pasture. Harris 2024!

He needs to be out immediately. His finger on the red button has been the real danger all along. If he is incompetent, whether it started 4 years ago or just yesterday, then he needs to go now. But he won't because the DNC can't risk the people seeing how ineffective Kamala really is.

If Biden drops out, Kamala will become Hillary's Hand Maiden and do what she is told to do. She will "appear" to be more efficient (in the short term) and that will enhance her "perceived" skills... Let Joe alone - he can muddle through the next few months and fade away after that!

1SG(P) Dean Mcbride (MPER) (SPHR) I agree. After thinking about it I would have to say it would be a real tragedy for to be in the spot of being the first woman president when there so many out there who are really qualified.

Too bad he didn't do it much sooner so we, the people, would have had a selection of potential candidates to vote for in the primary. I vote R and D = no longer registered with a party. Depends on the character of the person I think does the best job representing our nation at the time.

Why is Tulsi Gabbard talking like Kamala Harris is a done deal? Surest way to get Trump elected, isn't it? However, she does express some of my concerns about Kamala which is why I included the video.

Joe Biden does not have the right to solely determine who the Democratic nominee is. Imagine - the first women president slipped in by default? As if women have to inherit a position to "prove" they can do the job? Nope.

We, the people deserve to decide who runs and who we vote for instead of being told who "the" candidate will be. However, it seems Biden's delay has been an effort to foist Kamala on us all along. Who does anyone imagine has been doing the work, for the most part, anyway? He simply presents it, and he has never been good with public speaking.

There should have been a selection of candidates for both parties.. How could there be state primaries, so late after they have already happened, anyway? So that means the D Party *without input from we, the people* selects the candidate. That is not acceptable.

Cackling Kamala's appointment as the Democratic nominee would be a slap in the face for women all over the world. She does not deserve the appointment and it would only be done so to appease to Biden's will... Other strong capable women have already identified her skills or lack of skills... She is unfit and unqualified to be the Commander in Chief and would be very dangerous in that position. Her as Madam President would be changing the presidency to that of the Maid Servant for Hillary! Hopefully the Democratic Party is not that STUPID!

SFC Bernard Walko That is why I was a registered Republican since have been able to vote. Way back in the 70s the retired ladies on the block were Republicans and asked me to work on the Reagan campaign with them stuffing envelopes etc. I wanted to vote in the primaries too. And you have to be registered for R or D to work at the polls too which I enjoyed doing several times. Long days, but rewarding.
I don't think either party is honest any longer. I want to work on getting a change that does not take away the right to vote in the primary if not registered for one major party or the other. Approximately 24% of the states have closed primaries. It used to be over 30%.
I have also been considering ranked choice voting for a long time, and I have finally decided I think it is a good idea. Reading about it makes it seem more complicated than it is, and it doesn't happen many place.

Wow! Reading these responses is amazing. The hatred being spewed by some on the right is so vivid. President Joe Biden being blamed for everything.
Very difficult to even think of unity when there is so much hatred. And 99% of that hatred is based on lies and MAGA propaganda.
I only hope this nation will survive this chaos.

I think it was the right thing to do for him and the country. His health has been declining for many many months now and the left just refused to see it and couldn't hide it any longer after the debate when it was in full view. I really have a bad taste in my mouth for those that used him as a puppet for political gain...they knew his health wasn't good and yet still used him...to me that is elderly abuse plain and simple. I really have never liked him in the past, not necessarily as a man, but as a politician...he knew how to do the Potomac two step very well. He became congressionally institutionalized early in his career. He switched sides of political views more times than people change their underwear instead of standing firm on his beliefs. I hope that he has peaceful times ahead. No matter if you liked him or didn't, he did serve a long time and for that he deserves respect and dignity as he lives out his life.

This Is The Best Thing He Could Do, His Health Has Been Failing And The Current Bout With Covid Did Not Help.
The Thing I Am Worried About Is He Is Now A Lame Duck And May Issue Executive Orders Doing Things That Will Benefit Selected Groups And Not The Overall Country.
