Fairly accurate. They had the Senate Parlimentarian suspend the requirement for a committee quorum to be present in order to vote. Headline would've been the same if the Democrats had done it when they had control.

It's a good headline, because it describes what they did...legally! Now, if you wrote "Republicans illegally ram though committee approval of Trump Cabinet nominees", that would have been a lie.

The difference is that when democrats do things like this the media supports them and when the Republicans do exactly the same thing the media blasts them.

A more accurate headline would be "Democrats repeatedly refuse to attend Senate Confirmation Committee meetings. Republicans press forward in absence of Democratic participation, to allow a legally nominated Secretarial Position to move forward for a full vote on the Senate floor".

How about Dems boycott hearings and Republicans vote according to parliamentary rules. Spoiled children don't even show up and then scream they didn't have a voice??? At least show up for the vote, grow some fuzz, and tell the nominee to their face that you aren't voting to push them forward. ...instead of acting like a child that was told they were having spinach for dinner, decided to stay in their room during family dinner, and then complain later they are hungry.
