What do I do to receive my bonus?

I'm currently ARNG and I'm in AIT. I have 2 weeks left before I graduate. Do I have to do anything else to ensure that I receive the bonus on time or at all. I know how the bonus works I only need to know if I need to do anything before I leave AIT to make sure I get it as planned.

When you process into your first duty station, you will attend classes such as finance. There will be information put out on what paperwork you need to turn in, to receive your bonus. Worry first about graduating AIT.

When I was in the service, details of bonus pay outs was specific to having to be in your first duty station for at least 6 months. I'm not sure if there is/was more to that. However, that is what I recall from circa 2000.

Also, I agree with SPC Jones. Worry about passing AIT before anything else.

I cannot say about a N.G. unit but in the Reserves when you complete AIT and report to your unit they in process you and file for the bonus while in processing.
