One should be enough to prevent any pushup event. If you need something emergent, you can always go to the ER complaining of pain. If none-emergent, wait until you can see your provider again. The purpose is to refer you to a MEB, you don&#39;t need three referrals to MEB. The VA and IDES doesn&#39;t rate how many 3&#39;s you have, it will rate all your conditions.
