Mostly I&#39;ve been doing stretches to increase proper range of motion. Once I get the range back, I&#39;ll start rebuilding strength to hold everything in place. Its a long process. 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 03 May 2017 06:31:43 -0400 2017-05-03T06:31:43-04:00 Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made May 3 at 2017 7:27 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-corrective-exercise-s-and-stretch-es-do-you-use-for-physical-therapy-of-prior-injuries?n=2542690&urlhash=2542690 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>A problem that I&#39;ve seen is that corrective exercise used in the past are not reapplied when the same pain returns. Patients come to my clinics and I ask them if they remember their exercises from before and they say yes. I&#39;ll ask if they were progressed to warm up/movement prep exercises or maintenance exercises and I&#39;ll often get a yes. I&#39;ll then ask if they are still using any of the previously used exercises and I&#39;ll get the &quot;avoid eye contact&quot; response. This isn&#39;t exactly what I did verbatim, but it gives you an idea. Doc wanted me to work on range of motion and being able to put pressure on a single leg at a time without support. So to me what I was doing looked like hopscotch.
