What CONUS Army bases are the best for Law Enforcement as a 31B?

I have to imagine scanning CAC's at one base is much like doing it at any other. Really your focus should be on base amenities and programs, not to mention the surrounding community.

Very few no use MP's for Garrison (Law Enforcement). Some that I last knew that did was Ft. Carson, CO; Ft. Leonard Wood (I think) but they had DOD Guards at the Main Gate Visitor Log-0in), Ft. Myer, VA (last I knew, but it's not a cheap area to live in).
Ft. Belvoir, VA (also a expensive area now) has an MP Company, but the base uses DOD Police. Last time I was there 3 years ago, they still had an Army MP Desk Sgt (SSG/E-6). I have not idea how the MP's there are used.
I'd browse Army base websites and maybe call a unit's 1st Sgt or Operations Sgt.

It depends on what you mean by "best" and "Law Enforcement".

There will be more interesting law enforcement at the larger bases with more on base population but those bases are also more likely to have more MP units in addition to a LE detachment that will do most of the law enforcement, freeing you up to do training in the field. I saw plenty at Hood even though I did most of my time in the field.

Smaller bases will have less action but you will likely get more law enforcement road time.
