It varies per person and circumstances. Most companies offer military discount for travel or hotel stay.

I typically book flights through the various aggregate websites, i.e. kayak, priceline, cheaptickets, etc. However, with hotels and rental vehicles, if you call the business directly, many offer better deals for military members. I have had the same experience with cruise lines. Always better to call in person to see what they offer for military members.

We use Vacations To Go for our cruises and Travelocity for our flights. On average we take about two a year.
