My VFW Post is giving out a large assortment. Mini bars, hard candy, and more. Moved to tomorrow night due to heavy rain.

Lt Col Charlie Brown We are in a very rural area, with a huge distance between us and the next house. We are also facing a huge storm tonight...guess we will be nibbling on some candy for the next few days. I will bite the bullet and do my part to reduce the mini bars population in our home!

We are far enough out of town that we don't get trick or treaters. But just in case I buy a Dozen King size Baby Ruths (my favorite) and a Dozen King Size Snickers (my wife's favorite). After 21:00 they are fair game. By the way, did you know that you can get a hangover from too many king size Baby Ruths in one night?

Lt Col Charlie Brown: IN the 30+ years we have lived here we rarely have trick or treaters. Live too far out of town. We have had our neighbor's kids...and now we have our neighbor's kids' children. I don't give out candy but have stickers/tattoos...because who doesn't want an anchor, sergeant stripes, F16s, etc. for a tattoo? Lol!! The kids love that. We give the adults an adult beverage.

Other: post giving out at Camry center party little bags of sugar free gum, tooth brush, tooth paste, tooth twine, Got them through the dentist co-op. They do exams and treatments for those receiving social service benefits in our county

We're off the beaten path, but could scrape up some Hershey's minis if anyone did show up. They'd have to navigate the dead end road, guarded by scary beings.
