What can we do to bring America to its former Glory?

There are thee institutions that instill virtue in society. "America is Great because America is Good!"

1. The Family
2. The church
3. The school system

The family in many cases in our modern America has been des mantled. As a result less people go to Church, finally the schools have lost there freedom to teach conservative concepts and our country is suffering. What can be done to right the ship?

I can't agree more SGT Anthony Rossi. For many years the family and lately religion has been under attack. With education I think we are at fault for going for the lowest common denominator. For the family make it harder to get divorced especially if kids are involved, religion make it a class offered in school but not required kind of like religious ed. With education year round schooling.

We need to quit voting for the same bunch of crooks and hacks no matter what party they belong to. None of them can be trusted. We need a complete house cleaning in Washington.

SGT Anthony Rossi We need to elect leadership that will respect and fight for these values. The MSM and Hollywood will always push to what makes them money. The society and our leadership need to support Families, Faith and the structure necessary to raise children. The federal government continues to pass laws that attack this structure and we wonder why we are losing two parent households!

SGT Anthony Rossi What would a great America that is good look like? Would we place the welfare of hard working Americans and their families over that of corporations? Would we show preferences for the teachings of one Church or would government avoid involvement in religion? Would we set clear objectives for schools and ensure they were properly resourced to achieve those goals?

We need to get back to the foundations of America. the Constitution was based on the three things you mentioned. If you look at the original laws, they were derived directly from the Bible. For example, the Bible states a debt should be forgiven after 7 years, hence the reason debt stays on your credit report for 7 years.

Schools are failing in part because lack of funds, funds don't retain the bast teachers, and not enforcing standarrds on students (and parents). People are working more and more hours which directly effects religious involvement, and those religgions that are updating to new trends are those that are successful. People want to find religion in their way, not with a cut and paste lecture. So to bring the family together, we have to stop being narcissist, selfish, and make the family the priority. Not ones self.

Probably when we can return to being a Republic from being an Oligarchy. Probably when we can relinquish our title as the country with the highest per-capita prison population. Probably when we can stop subsidizing poverty and corporations. When we can bring honor back to vocational education. When we can return to actually educating instead of teaching for tests.

That would probably be a good start.

1) We can give parents the right to spank the children again.
2) Let prayer back in church for those who wish to pray.
3) Make these kids out here today pull there pants up and wear a belt. Take them to jail if they don't.
4) Let everyone who doesn't have a criminal record or a mental record carry a weapon if they wish. It will cut down on crime.
5) Make the government be held responsible and serve time for there mistakes.

First this is my opinion I tend to pissed people off but take this as my opinion and consider that I am usually right 99% of the time.

Simply one word from me and I will explain. PRIDE.

American's and therefore America has lost their (its) pride. Pride in the nation, themselves and what America actual stands for. We have people exercising their right to shit, walk or whatever on the very flag the represents the nation that gives them those rights. So much is given to Americans that they lost the pride to work hard. It has become easier to accept that hand out then figure out how to give to others.

People have lost pride in their community. Churches are no longer socially acceptable because people get offended if they feel beliefs are forced on them. People are so caught up in 'AngryTwitterBirds' that they and social anymore. And the pride a person should have in the area they live in just doesn't exist.

Families have lost pride. Children are shooting children. Moms and Dads are breaking up just because it's easier than trying to work on it. There is so much hate and mistrust in the system that parents with bad kids assume that it is the system instead of their children that is wrong. Ashley Madison is an easy out for Families to hurt the standard structure of the family.

Pride in America and American's has been lost. People have taken the easy way so much that the right moral and ethical way is completely lost. Instead of helping your neighbor you say how they should get a job. Instead of feeding the child who is friends with yours when he is hungry you send him home. Instead of putting a flag in a place of honor, they throw it on the ground and trample it.

America has lost its Pride. It pays for things that it can't afford and places laws in place that hurt the country. It's leaders fight over things just because they are part of a party even though they don't believe in it themselves. It’s leaders takes bribes to render opinions on topics that should be decide by moral just people. American's vote for people and don't even know who that person is and if they have the right moral compass to lead.

The Presidency has become a joke where the best of two horrible candidates get voted in, with the hope that they don’t hurt America too much.

PRIDE is what is needed to fix America.

We have to change the current political environment and ideology. Starting with the highest office in the land down to local levels. Citizens must learn about politicians and what they stand for. Families/ communities must come together, put aside their differences and work together to solve their common problems. Must seek God's Kingdom first and everything else will be given onto them.
