On the upside, that is going to be one hell of a backpay due.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2020 1:58 AM2020-10-26T01:58:45-04:002020-10-26T01:58:45-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6438946<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Chances are that you're going to the finance front office for your post and not the actual finance office which is the DFAS on your post. The "finance" people running your finance section are usually not finance people at all, they just take your documents and sent them to DFAS. You're better off going straight to your DFAS office on post and handing them your documents yourself - but only if your stuff is locked in tight and your documents and requests are 100% correctResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2020 2:10 AM2020-10-26T02:10:39-04:002020-10-26T02:10:39-04:00CW3 Kevin Storm6440989<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>ROFLMAO, speed finance up! If you knew who was handling your paperwork, send them a gift certificate for a steak dinner....joking. Seriously ensure your paperwork is correct with all the needed copies of documents that are requested.Response by CW3 Kevin Storm made Oct 26 at 2020 5:45 PM2020-10-26T17:45:45-04:002020-10-26T17:45:45-04:00Cpl Vic Burk6441446<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Request mast (Article 31) to the highest person in your chain of command. Someone's ass will get fired up. No officer wants anything to go any higher than absolutely necessary. Get higher brass involved and someone will take the necessary action long before it gets the the top. I have seen it happen when I was in. IF all else fails contact your congressman and get a CONGRINT (as we called in the Corps). It worked, and fast.Response by Cpl Vic Burk made Oct 26 at 2020 8:32 PM2020-10-26T20:32:18-04:002020-10-26T20:32:18-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member6444108<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Something's not adding up.
