What can i do/ who can i talk to in order to coordinate her moving to me??ive read the Navmc order of 90 miles apart a general rule and that the commands will make every effort possible to do it. But every marine around me is saying its all on her. but ive also heard and read that Both parties need to submit the Navmc 1 year ahead of PCS. Since she just joined and no way could it be a year yet, How can i or what do i do to make sure her first duty station is on or near mine? What can I do to coordinate my wife getting stationed near me after she finishes A school? 2019-01-08T08:47:22-05:00 Cpl Private RallyPoint Member 4268705 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ive been stationed on Camp pendleton with my wife for a year, she just joined the Navy and is now in boot camp. So I guess the question is do i need to talk to my CO in my platoon to coordinate her moving here in order for her to have extra importance of pcsing here? They and your personnel section will know how to process properly. There are never guarantees in the military. Thank you for your service. The assignment managers can work with you in order to find something that fits both of your needs. However, because you are not protected by any couples program you are not guaranteed to be stationed together. It comes down to how well you can work with your assignment manager, and where you are both able to be stationed according to your MOS, rating, and rank. You guys should have done some research on rates and duty station for said rates, anyway it is what it is but you can do a request and see how it goes. Good Luck.
