What's the best job to get form the 35 series and why? How can I stand out other than a good APFT score? Wed, 08 Jun 2016 23:36:56 -0400 What can I do to better prepare for Army life? I will try to hunt them down. Contact FT Huachcua or a local unit to get an informal sponsor. My brain was still set on Part Time Soldier status. Boy, was that a real eye opener for having gotten in trouble a few times. You will learn some basic skills but as a 35 series most of your valuable training will be OJT. Listen to your NCO's and pay attention to what your Warrant Officer says, tasks you to do. Standing out..yes APFT, study for promotion boards, shoot well (expert) and again pay attention to your NCO's. Best of luck.
