Signed my contract in July which stated my rank,MOS, and duty location. Ive barely been able to make contact with my unit contact. Just before my report date in October he tells me my slot is filled and he’s going to try to release me or transfer me. Told me if I want to stay there they will demote me. Or keep your old MOS and get transferred to different unit. Basically not upholding my contract at all. And not going to send me to AIT. Never even gave me a schedule for drill or instructions. 5 months down the line still in same situation. So I got with another recruiter and found a job closer to me and I sent the unit administrator a DD368, since I was probably not going to like any outcome from the unit. So what can I do? He’s not trying to get my 368 expedited or anything. Is my contract even valid if they don’t abide the obligations? It took me close to a year to finally go to AIT....10 months just to get my acu&#39;s....Best move I made was leaving and coming active. Took me 4 years to do it. I wish you luck.
