What can I do if I just reenlisted, my MOS is over strength and I'm trying to get another duty station? Can branch still find me options?

Dependent upon your branch like your transportation and you can find different areas to be in

Did you contact your branch and ask? Just because your MOS is over strength doesn't mean you can't relocate.

It's hard to get orders out of bliss but don't go thro retention call branch they are other ways out

Someone else you can talk to is your CSM at the battalion or brigade level. With all their duties, helping Soldiers move their careers forward is always one of their favorites. They may not be in your branch, but they can be a big help in opening the right doors for you to go through. Good luck, make what ever unit you are in, the best unit in the Army regardless of what others are doing.

Normally when you reenlist they try to give you a reason to stay, maybe a bonus or at least a PCS. I'd try to still work with retention if you haven't signed any to reenlist.

To be honest with you, I would have worked out a drug deal with retention prior to re enlisting for re class and duty station if they had slots for a particular location....
