The general rule of thumb was 2 months pay X number of years of service=final paycheck. Of course, the government will nail you for 40% in taxes first. Not sure about the medical benefits; the latest have been given 3 years to transition, but I would not hold my breath on that one. The following paper can give guidance:

Just to clarify its half separation ou as stated on the paper on the link above. I have not seen anywhere anything on 2 months x years of service. Not saying that isnt the case or couldn't be but nothing I have ever found states that when falling under QMP.

The HRC homepage has all the information pertaining to QMP/QSP, they have also addressed numerous questions pertaining to it in the chat rooms on FB
