What are your thoughts on Kevin Durant's decision to join Golden State?

Granted I am always going to be a supporter of KD as he hails from my hometown of Washington, DC. However, my question to the community is was this good move and was it done for the right reasons? Lastly, is there any loyalty in sports anymore? Weigh in RP fam!!

He's just like Kevin Garnett or LeBron James. He's just trying to get a ring like they were.
Is there team loyalty in pro sports? HELL NAW!! If that person isn't getting the money they think they should get or if they can get a championship with team X, loyalty gets pushed to the side.

I don't see the problem with KD transferring. Although it may seem new the concept of players leaving one franchise to join another is relatively old. Especially when they feel they deserve more OR their original franchise isn't commuted to winning as they're. I just pray that all KD's needs are going to be meet in his new surroundings.

I'm not sure of the real reason he left.
If he just wanted a ring, seems short-sighted for his age because the franchise will expect him to do it again if given reasons.
If he didn't get support, OKC screwed up or is up to something, similar to D.Wade in Miami Heat.
Loyalty comes in prioritization. Is he MORE loyal to his hometown, original team/teammates, personal/professional goals? Even when you're selfless, you lose patience if those you support and put first don't return the same treatment.
