Are they devoid of any meaning thought, do some or many hold useful analysis, or tailored for 12 year old chairborne rangers? If you educate them as to the opportunities available to them after they serve and the proper transition teams are in place to recruit and hire these individuals they might give it some thought. If these ads are all oo-rah and no content then that type of person is all you will attract. I want them to appeal to men and women, gay and straight, jock and nerd, every race, etc. Why? Because we need the best of the best. I want the most competent people to fill those jobs and have lots of unique friends to enjoy my military career with PV2 Private RallyPoint Member SFC Jim Ruether COL Mikel J. I also want to know even more people like them. The only way that could happen is if the military opens up their mind to appealing to more demographics. What makes a great serviceman is love of the country, courage, discipline and honour. Surely, those are morals that transcend the barriers we place between each other. #MilitaryFamily A1C Ian Williams Mon, 15 Jan 2018 16:06:58 -0500 2018-01-15T16:06:58-05:00 Response by SGT David A.
