What are your thoughts on a Senior NCO portion of the SFL-TAP process? What would you like it to do?

CSM Private RallyPoint Member The concept is good and having completed SFL-TAP recently I would like to see more conducive training in federal resumes.

I appreciate all the feedback. I am planning to try and build a SFL-TAP that is specific to Senior NCOs. Part of this concept is leveraging CEOs from the civilian sector to tell us what their biggest business issues/problems are and then match a Senior NCO to that problem set. Just need to know if anyone has any other feedback on how Senior NCOs would receive this type of program.

CSM I just completed the online counseling and the 5 day Senior workshop at Ft Gordon, GA and it was very well put together. The updated DOL workshop was amazing at preparing us to submit a Fed Job Resume and creating a quality Linked In profile. The veterans briefings were specifically tailored towards retirees and that was much needed information to take back to the troops who are looking for benefits for continued service. I would suggest contacting the SFL-TAP coordinator at FT Gordon to find out what specific changes they put in place to assist SRs compared to the basic SFL-TAP program.
