What are your thoughts about Seven Black churches across the South have been burned ?

Investigations are just beginning into the church fires; several of them are already being described as apparent arsons. But one thing is quite clear: White racists are reviving the tactics of the KKK to terrorize Black Americans. What do you think?

Thinking back to my days in the police force, I seem to remember there being a build up of said groups, and much more militantly. I fear that they see the actions in Charleston as a call to arms. Copycat criminals are always worse because once they limelight wears off, they want to do something bigger to draw more attention.

Sgt David G Duchesneau I think it is sad that people have to revert to this type of behavior. Its stuff like this that really turns me off about some of the individuals living in our society today. All veterans, active duty service members, and retirees of branches should stand up against this type of behavior!

The people of Charleston came together not as Black and White but as Americans, if we don't learn to do this we are lost. The idiots burning churches are less than fools.

We all have the right to free speech and the right to a different opinion. One of the strengths of our country is the diversity of our people. That said, the destruction of the property of others and taking of lives or livelihoods is criminal and un-American. Those who take this sort of action are no better than many of the enemies of the US, past and present. Those enemies think only they are right, that others don't matter, and if others don't look, speak or believe a certain way, they are targets.

I would have thought that by now those in organizations like the KKK would have realized they are not much different than ISIS or other radical groups. Its a sad day for Americans that we still have groups like the KKK.

Seems like a race war is on verge to start in a age where I have seen less hate than growing up in Texas as a Mexican. Seems like the hate of long ago. The question is it not racial but religious since we as a nation have started to become more disconnected with God. I would have to find out and understand the motive behind it. Could be muslim terror groups fueling the race war against us have to put a stop to it. I noticed if I left the small m it seems to think it is an error well they are to me if they are terrorist.

It's disgusting that it's being seen as a race issue.

I've intentionally not paid attention to it, because I'm tired of being called a racist in passing.

For those who didn't hear, the latest CHURCH in South Carolina which was on fire, the State Fire Marshall indicated no accelerants were found and four lightning strikes happened in the immediate area of the CHURCH.

If you notice, I took race out of it, it's still a tragedy but no one gets to feel superior or inferior.

Why is there so much hate? If it isn't racial, it's gay marriage. Its right v. left. Hating police, then hating them again? (Sorry, cop speaking) My God is better than your God.

I remember, a hot summer day, and damn I wish I had a camera. A black boy, and a white boy with fire truck red hair.... sitting on an milk carton eating ice cream together. Ice cream dripping everywhere! And for that moment, those two were in heaven.
