Poor Kurds, They have always wanted a land of their own but being wedged between Historical Heavy Hitters like Persia and the Ottoman Empire that makes that a slim chance to none. I have nothing but respect for the fighters for the Peshmerga (Both Male and Female) and I think they are a good ally for us (Even though I do remember the Armed Standoff between the Peshmerga and our troops while they were courting Iranian Diplomats). As a History Freak I love that our Concept of Angels comes from this Culture and that same concept of Angels puts them at odds with their Fellow Muslims.
