I have always enjoyed being challenged and I've seldom backed down from a challenge. The military has taught me to take a brief pause, when challenged. I will identify a problem and not rush head-long into trying to solve it. Instead, I take a brief pause to thoroughly evaluate the problem and come up with a good course of action for solving it. I think problems all the way through and try to identify potential unintended consequences of possible solutions. I'm able to prioritize now.
