When heading to bed, we both like to read, and she likes to prop her pillow on another pillow so she can sit comfortably while reading, so I ensure that I already have it set for her. I always try to take her plate for her when she is done with dinner. Randomly send her flowers to her work or bring flowers home to her. Our kids are grown up but my wife told me a few years ago that she though me taking the boys out for breakfast at the bowling alley every Saturday so she could sleep in was really appreciated. Also she mentions it feels like home whenever I have the smoker oven fired up taking its time to put Sunday dinner on the table. So now that we're retired, I do my breakfast early alone but still fire up the smoke so it wafts around enough to keep normal going. I'd have the kids get all their laundry together and get that started, while mom slept in. Then have the kids do the dishes afterwards. :)

I now work Saturdays and Sundays and always prepare her some breakfast and get her tea ready before leaving for work, so it's waiting for her when she get's up. On weekdays i work evenings so i either make something or take her out for breakfast or lunch before work. Chapman. What I have found working as a therapist with couples is that everyone has a primary "language" that tells them they are loved (e.g. giving time, acts of service, etc.). I find that many couples are frustrated and feeling unloved by their spouse/significant other when, very often, the other is trying to communicate love in a way that is not interpreted as love by their partner. This frustrates everyone. I often use the free online survey with couples to identify their specific language, then help them work out ways to communicate that way. Frequently, we try to show love to someone else in the way that means love to us, when sometimes that isn't the key for that other person. When both sides of the couple accurately identify the love "language" of their partner (easy online survey) and start to communicate in a targeted way that domain to each other, then the relationship tends to feel much more loving subjectively and relationships tend to improve. I am a dedicated foodie and I watch all the food shows and I refer to them as the “porno channel” last night I found a show called “Food Porn.” I was really annoyed that it should have been my show! Life is not fair to me! By the way if you go to France and you see a restaurant with a gilded horse's head out front don't go in unless you are very adventurous gastronomically and want to try horse meat. I get up first thing in the morning and make her fresh coffee and breakfast. I can get her Polish bread just like her grandmother made when she was a little girl and all the Polish delicacies she loves. I happen to make a lot of friends and I can get her car inspected very fast. I am in better health than she is so I will go pick up all her medicines for her. My friends help us with home repairs because I only know how to blow up things.
