What are the top threats to our rights today, especially the 2nd and 1st Amendment rights?

All of the above are threats to our rights, but only the ignorance breeds those willing to watch their rights dissolve away in silence.

Ignorance, plain and simple. If people would legitimately educate themselves, then the country would not be in the position that it is in. The sad part is that at the end of the 90s we were given the internet; this grand and all powerful tool to spread knowledge and ideas at incredible speeds. Any person could gain access to a nearly endless supply of useful knowledge with the internet... But humanity has since lost its way... The internet is not used as it was intended. We have squandered this gift.... instead of enlightening the masses it has dumbed them down. Teenagers shovel the stupidest shit into their heads while reading the latest celebrity scandals and streaming their favorite 16 and pregnant episodes; it's absolutely disgusting. Ignorance, willful and negligent ignorance, that is the greatest threat to everything we hold dear.

Out of all the choices there is only one that we, as individuals, have control over. Education rules! And not a check-the-box, no one left behind education; which is not an education. Learning how to critically think. Learning how to properly research.

The biggest threats are the ones that remain behind the scenes, while the Poll answers are included in the observable issues, the bigger threat is whats going on and not seen. Some useful idiots on both sides of the argument are just window dressing on the bigger issues. This country will go through some major changes fairly soon.

Besides the apathy and lack of citizen rights and obligations education are our elected and UNELECTED officials. The biggest problem is proper and equal application of the laws by unelected officials and making them accountable for their actions.

I believe this is the internal war of the medusa, multi fronts to attack our country and our way of life. I call it the SIMALACRA where all things become the opposite or turned inside out so augments become confused and logic lost. Tge replacement of something real with a SIMALACRA causing a longing that can not be understood, identified or satisfied. Over time the starvation for real is amplified. The end result is the ultimate a detached desperation clinging to the false claiming the real. This shift has been gradual and permeated through multiple levels of society where we accept the gray lines of so called Real TV, Home Cooked frozen foods, Day Care as home care to the point Fake news is now Real. Spin and talking heads control the thoughts of the masses. So sadly organized group can inflame public opinion. News is radically different. Integrity, respect and honor are not held in great esteem. People knows it's geated, confusing and impossible to tackle, turn away. Idealists face the dark realities in trying to change...

In the end... I believe that like a huge field overrun with weeds, we make way where we are and do the work to bring positive, real change that is honorable, sincere and dedicated to a better world. With people doing that in conjunction with strong leadership restoring rule of law, constitutional rights, and put honor back into our world. Thank you.

All the money in elections, Gerrymandered congressional districts by both parties, and incumbents being voted back into office just because they belong to this or that party instead of people actually the issues and where the candidates have actually voted on such issues. Not the promises they make. Both sides left and right are equally guilty of not protecting the rights of citizens and only pandering to thier bases.
