Hawaii is expensive. Go to Alaska and become a citizen and get your yearly citizenship rebate. Hawaii chicks in bikinis. Alaska chicks in igloos. Hawaii our in the middle of nowhere hot. Alaska out in the middle of nowhere cold. Hawaii crappy Mexican food. Alaska crappy Mexican food. Good luck.

So nowadays soldiers assigned to Alaska can just say "no thanks, I'd rather go to HI" and that's it? In my time the personnel types would just say "no, we're not laughing at you, we're laughing with you" if someone tried to do that. GL. ;)
