What are the Pros and Cons of being part of a Strategic and Tactical command as a 35L?

I am seeing some conflicting info, so I just thought I would be explicit with this one.

I'm curious about the differences between the Strategic and Tactical commands. Specifically in how experience in each one could affect my career. To my understanding most agents want Strategic and Tactical is where you get deployed. I understand that most individuals will not get a choice in the matter, but I just like to know what I could possibly getting into.
