About the only thing I could even begin to think of is that you may have to give up your Israeli citizenship. <br /><br />Now, you may very well require a waiver, plus your background check may raise some eyebrows. But, who knows really. <br /><br />Your best bet, if you have not done so, is make contact with a Recruiter and raise all of these questions and concerns with them. There could be a red flag or a waiver required with it being Israel but there isn&#39;t a hard rule anywhere that states that anyone who served in another countries military is blacklisted. Speak to a recruiter and get away from gossip. There may be another reason your friend wasn&#39;t allowed to join.
