My wife just joined the army her self and was smart enough she landed 35P as an MOS. She just got her language (korean) what duty stations would she most likely be given? obviously Korea is the main option but what other stationed besides those?

I am also a now a gunsmith so guns are important to my sanity now that I am daddy daycare so if i get Alaska, or Hawaii at least I can still do that on the side just want to know whats the likelihood of us getting a state side duty station. Also would we be able to bring my kids pets? And would me and the kids get to come? What are the duty stations that are avalible for people with the 35P MOS (and have been given Korean as the language)? 2018-03-24T16:52:46-04:00 SPC Joseph Casares 3477476

After serving in the army as a single soldier now 8 years later I am married with 3 kids. Meade MD my father in law makes guns here, so you should be good.
Schoefield Barracaks Hawaii
Then, depending on rank,
Every BCT in the Army
Every EMIB in the Army
Tactical units don't really have a language slot, I mean they do, but it's usually filled by any language. FT. Meade is a strategic assignment so it is based off of language. Hawaii has both.

Hope this helps, maybe some KP linguists will have a better answer for you. However, I know people that are at Ft. Wainwright in Alaska, Ft. Drumm, Ft. Polk, Ft. Riley, JBLM, Ft. Meade, and Hawaii. Korean linguists are very limited on where they can go. It is common for Korean linguists to spend a lot of time OCONUS, so be prepared for that. If you have any questions I can probably help.
