I am on assignment to Camp Humphreys and looking to get Command Sponsored, I have a Great Dane that my family is very attached to, does anyone know the breed/weight restrictions for Camp Humphreys or what's common around that area?

SGT Starnater,

Not sure if this completely answers your questions, but information on what dog breeds are allowed, and importation requirements can be found on the 65th MED BDE/MEDDAC-K site listed below. Just click on PCSing with Pets.

SGT Thomas Lucken I seem to recall dogs being a medium of exchange for services to be rendered.

I just came from there... Keep the dog at home. It will cost you SO MUCH money. But there are Great Danes on post housing.

Oh wow, that's crazy! Is that if they aren't fully vaccinated and regularly vetted?

What are the dog breed restrictions at Camp Humphreys, South Korea?

Your local station vet should have all the information you need, including labs and vaccinations before you leave the continental US. Do it early and you can save some money if you have to quarantine it when you arrive at ROK.
