SPC July Macias 6987997 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I already have a Bachelor of Fine Art degree, and was just informed by a young sailor that T.A. will only pay for your masters program - As opposed to earning another degree in an unrelated field. I am seriously considering returning to active duty, partly so I can study optometry. But will T.A. say no to that? What are the Current Tuition Assistance Limitations like for Active Duty? 2021-05-19T20:46:30-04:00 SPC July Macias 6987997 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I already have a Bachelor of Fine Art degree, and was just informed by a young sailor that T.A. will only pay for your masters program - As opposed to earning another degree in an unrelated field. That wouldn&#39;t actually make you am optometrist. You need a Doctorate for that, but TA isn&#39;t authorized for Doctoral or PhD programs.
