Some background info/further question clarification: Always wanted to attend USMA. I found an interesting article about the untapped method of enlisting and then applying for the academy, and that since the prep school never meets their quota (70 Active/70 Reserve I believe), their acceptance rates near ~99%- so long as your ACT and GPA wasn't half bad. My question to any who might answer is simply to give any kind of indication as to the competition surrounding enlisted-to-USMAPS admissions. Keep in mind, i'm not asking the acceptance rate of USMAPS to USMA, but only for US Army to USMAPS. Hope I didn't confuse anyone... Thanks!!!!

It's very competitive all around. If you're looking for the easier route then USMAPS is probably not the school for you.

Thanks for your reply! I'm studying extremely hard for my ACT, as well as preparing for the APFT. Other than these two things, what are some other things I could do in order to further prepare before enlistment?

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

It is hard, very hard to get accepted and hard to make the cut into USMA. It is doable, but not everyone makes it thru.
