<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Kids? That matters a little for schools and athletic programs. <br />I got stationed here in 2001, and have mostly lived in Layton. Most of the surrounding cities have good neighborhoods...Farmington, Kaysville, Clearfield, most parts of Sunset, Roy, and Clinton are good, too. North Ogden, West Haven. All depends on size of home and lot size you&#39;re looking for, as well as schools if you have kids.

I was born and raised in Utah and lived just about everywhere north of Salt Lake, I would recommend Layton or Clearfield Sunset and most of Roy is geto! Riverdale is not bad and East Ogden is good. South of the base for the most part anything East of I15 is ok to Bountiful.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Any areas around The base are good. Just stay out of Ogden. Older run down city. Housing is in a bit of a boom right now so prices are high everywhere. South end of Base you will hear the jets flying.
