What would be negatives to making this move. Would I be paying out of pocket for the classes I took? What are some repercussions for changing majors in college when the GI Bill covered most of your current major? 2019-05-08T21:56:44-04:00 SPC Onel Cruz 4616039

Currently considering switching degrees and I know that a few of my credits will transfer over but not all of them. It will take you longer to finish your degree
2. You need to see how much GI Bill money you have left vs. how many credit hours ($$) it will take you to finish the new degree. If it’s a deficit then you’ll end up having to get financial aid or pay out of pocket to finish the new degree. Could end up running out of GI bill money before you graduate a lot of that depends on how much per class and how many classes you need to complete degree requirements. She had to talk to her councilor and get the switch approved. GI Bill may work the same way but not 100% sure. Best thing to do is talk to your assinged councilor at the school your attending.
