I remember being Saarbrucken and I told some of my friends, "Look at those hardcore punkers, I am going to walk through the middle of their group and nothing happened". Either has guts or I am senseless.

Near the North Gate of Ramstein AB, was a Hell's Angel who was broken down. I gave him a ride and was invited to be a hang around that day. Kind of weird but kind of cool. lol

I would have told my friend but he is part of the Outlaws in Florida, 1%er. He was going to take some of the guys to beat up a guy who was abusing my daughter.

My craziness began before I got overseas. I was waiting in San Francisco for a ride to Vietnam. Although there was a plane departing every 20 minutes, 24/7, I had to wait almost three days for a seat. An ex-girlfriend who had moved to San Francisco "hosted" a party to help me wait. I have a dim memory of standing in a park cradling a cement cherub in my arms while a very patient policeman talked to me about returning it to its pedestal. By the third morning, without sleep, I dragged myself to the counter at Oakland Army Terminal and begged the sergeant for a seat. I had to get to Vietnam before I died in San Francisco.
