We had a WM lieutenant in TBS named Maureen Stone.

I have two favorites in particular. I have met an Airman Major, told me people get confused over the phone quite often. The other one was Master Sergeant Lawless which is just plain and simple a badass last name.

I was stationed with an Ensign Admiral in Japan. I called the watch floor and he answered, i thought it was a joke at first.

One one ship there was a Seaman Seaman in Deck Division, he eventually made PO2 (E-5). On another ship there was an IC2 Ball...luckily he didn't have an S at the end of his name....lol

Worked with a USMC Sergeant Majors in Iraq, he was the Comms Sergeant for the Marine unit we worked with.

And i met Oliver North in line at a latrine in Kuwait as we were getting ready to fly into Iraq. He was with a Fox News team. He's pretty short, 5'7, 5'8 i'd guess. Also really likes beef jerky, offered to share some. Really nice to chat with.

When I was a young Marine NCO with the serving on a Marine Expeditionary Unit, we had a S-3 Officer with the Battalion Landing Team named Major Dick. As with most Operations Officer his attitude (and name) fit the billet.

I am just a SGT....I know I said Sergeant Major....I am Sgt Major, but I am not a Sergeant Major. No my last name is Major and I am a SGT.....Yes Sir, that is pretty fucked up!" That shit was funny the first 100 times, then after that I just wanted to shoot somebody in the face.
