When I was there in 1974, any and all Army personnel could attend practice and tournament rounds by wearing a dress uniform, showing a military ID card and paying a nominal fee. Nowadays, I think the Army gets a number of tickets and conducts a lottery to distribute them.

The Savannah Rapids Pavillion and Mistletoe State Park are good for running. Or there&#39;s First Friday downtown and usually some artsy or jazz festivals downtown and at Lady Antebellum park.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>WhI was there I always left Augusta and went to Atlanta and Savannah. There are more entertaining things to do in those areas. But if you want to stay in Augusta, catch a minor league hockey game downtown, Site see downtown, and enjoy the local places to eat.
