SGM Jerry Finin 68346 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My first highlight of my career was when I made E-5, second was 1SG and my third was when I made SGM. My career came in full circle. Thankful and blessed to have served in the capacity that I did. What are or was the three highlights of your military carrier? 2014-03-03T01:23:01-05:00 SGM Jerry Finin 68346 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My first highlight of my career was when I made E-5, second was 1SG and my third was when I made SGM. My second highlight was earning my SGT Stripes in less than three years and my third biggest highlight was taking part in the largest joint Air Defense missile test launch ever conducted a couple years ago. We had only been in Iraq for around 3 months, and she saw the growth in me, and that really inspired me to try and be a better Soldier and Leader.</div><div><br></div><div>- Preparing the uniform for a deceased SGM</div><div>   This event touched me because I was chosen to prepare the Class A Jacket for a SGM's funeral, who I never had the pleasure of meeting or serving with. My NCO told me that they chose me to prepare his uniform, because they knew that I would pay close attention to detail. For me personally, the only thing that mattered to me was the fact that he was a leader of our Army, and he and his family deserved the best. I was so honored by this.</div><div><br></div><div>- Volunteering for the honor flights</div><div>  Being a part of the Army has afforded me the opportunity to assist and support other Veterans who have paved the way for our current and future force. The smiles and joy that the World War II Veterans had/have when we welcome them to their memorial warms my heart like no other. </div> Response by SSG Zenia Boswell made Mar 3 at 2014 1:09 PM 2014-03-03T13:09:57-05:00 2014-03-03T13:09:57-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 68832 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would have to say I don't have highlights only a few bad spots.  I've made the best out of everything I have done and wouldn't have missed the worst nights or the greatest truimps for anything, because both the worst and the best times are what shape you.
