It is not really an MOS that gets a lot of schools. If you are looking for hooah schools you went into the wrong MOS.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 3 at 2015 7:06 PM2015-12-03T19:06:19-05:002015-12-03T19:06:19-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member1150152

Find out with the MI school code is, search it on ATTRS, and research what schools you qualify forResponse by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 4 at 2015 9:37 AM2015-12-04T09:37:39-05:002015-12-04T09:37:39-05:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member1159293

Think outside the MOS to the field at large:
In the "commonly associated with MI" section there's Security Manager's Course, DoD Security Specialist's Course, and so on.
On the more general side, there's the SHARP/EO courses, which seem boring but are aactually quite meaningful. There's also Master Fitness Trainer and Master Resilience Trainer, which while often being NCO duties, it's still a good thing to have an Officer trained to manage the BN/BDE's program.
On the career advancement side, there's the 35E course (CounterIntelligence Officer), and a few other additional MOS schools (P.S. -- if you're a computer junkie, make sure to get dual-qualified as a 35D/G at OBC -- 35G is one of the only additional MOSs you can pick up straight from OBC if you work for it).
On the ASI side, there's a whole host, but the MI nexus works well for N9 (Cyber Ops Planner) hosted by 1st IO Cmd and E4 (Cyber Mission Force -- Has additional requirements) granted by ArCyber.
On the FA side, look at 24 or 53 if you're a network junkie, 30 if you like Info Ops, 29 for Electronic Warfare, and perhaps most notably 34 for Strategic Intelligence.

It takes a while, and you're only going to get to a handful of good courses that will help you, your Soldiers, and your career all at the same time, but start planning now and start requesting schools as soon as your unit will allow.

I would suggest you get Security Manager at a minimum right away, as well as try for at least one alternate MOS over just the Delta you'll get from OBC. Plan ahead for an FA as you will eventually need one if you have a longer career, and consider becoming the go-to Officer for at least one of the 'general' items.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 8 at 2015 8:04 AM2015-12-08T08:04:05-05:002015-12-08T08:04:05-05:00SSG Henry Chan1159476

It depends on what you're looking for. As others have stated, there are the general leadership courses for officers. As far as MI schools go, there are a large number of courses. Antiterrorism and security manager are typical for MI. There are also familiarization courses for different AORs. Courses exist for specialization such as CIED, targeting, UAS, threat finance, etc. Cyber is popular. Talk to your MI people when you finish MIBOLC. There is a list your training NCO or senior MI people can give you.Response by SSG Henry Chan made Dec 8 at 2015 9:18 AM2015-12-08T09:18:44-05:002015-12-08T09:18:44-05:002015-12-03T16:19:49-05:00
