But that was several years ago, things have probably changed quite a bit since then.Response by SGT David A. Unfortunately, since I was the only white guy, I wasn't chosen (affirmative action) even though I was the highest qualified. I know, because I was the only 91B E6 with 4 maintenance MOS's, combat experience & was top graduate in BNCOC. There were 1 asian female, 1 black male & 1 Latino. All of them only had 1 or 2 MOS's. There were only 3 positions available, I was # 4...<br /><br />Back to the subject. I've had many of my 91 buddies go Warrant. I'd say it's probably one of the best & most useful warrant MOS's! <br />Good for it!!!Response by SFC Jake Middaugh made Apr 14 at 2020 1:05 PM2020-04-14T13:05:48-04:002020-04-14T13:05:48-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5775558<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Since you already know the good stuff, i will add what my first line tells me is to shoot a 40/40 fight for that 300Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 14 at 2020 1:39 PM2020-04-14T13:39:30-04:002020-04-14T13:39:30-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member5775953<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your ERB, NCOER’s and experience will speak for itself. Work on your Warrant Officer Resume summary and also your LORs. Essentially what I did for mine was write them myself then handed to the CO and BC and if they agreed, they signed it.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 14 at 2020 3:26 PM2020-04-14T15:26:29-04:002020-04-14T15:26:29-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member5777020<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you can where you are stationed I would look for a 915A who just got pinned and went through all the training you will have to when you get picked up. Since they just went through it they should be able to help you out on putting it together and if you haven’t done it yet should be able to point you to a Senior Warrant for the recommendations you need. I know that can be hard finding for some of the MOS.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 14 at 2020 10:17 PM2020-04-14T22:17:44-04:002020-04-14T22:17:44-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5795279<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What I would tell u is the same thing a Maj. I worked for told me when I was offered OCS. Check out the Regs. They should be VERY helpful. And pay attention to every word and the order they are written in as things like Could might be one of the most important words in the whole reg. if its in a certain sentence. I wish u the best.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 20 at 2020 2:47 AM2020-04-20T02:47:24-04:002020-04-20T02:47:24-04:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member5813726<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was selected in September (first time select) my class is in July. I believe your DA photo can be taken in UCP while deployed. Get in contact with a warrant recruiter on the USAREC website they can assist you with your packet seeing as your deployed. I would highly suggest that you do everything in your power to get your packet done asap. Though covid may push board schedules at least you can get yours "board ready" earlier. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions, WO1 John C. made a lot of good points. My packet was pretty standard, I did it exactly how the warrant recruiting website laid it out, with no additions. I've read a lot of other board proceedings with the presidents comments and most do not care about the fluff. Your NCOERS, Photo, and resume are probably the most heavily weighted. I also had 2 ETPs get approved for some stupid stuff I did as a private. Again get it done, if you have any question or need an example of anything let me know.Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 25 at 2020 12:54 AM2020-04-25T00:54:46-04:002020-04-25T00:54:46-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5836217<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>One thing I can tell u is that the military has its own way of doing things. And they put a big Period on how they want things done. So if they have an example of a reg on what it should have or look like then u follow it to the letter and period. I was offered some things when I was in the Military like OCS and went to someone I trusted about it and what this person told me was to check out the regs on that subject and read it and then let them know what I decided. And found that everything he told me was word for word in that reg. And pay attention to the little words like They CAN consider your training. In this it means u take them at what they exactly said. They can but it also gives them wiggle room so they might not look some things. So try to do things like u are a lawyer and u are representing u . Cross all of the T's and Dot all of the I's exactly how they want it done and that is ur best chance of winning.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 30 at 2020 11:16 PM2020-04-30T23:16:20-04:002020-04-30T23:16:20-04:00PVT Private RallyPoint Member5865522<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My boyfriend is joining soon and I was curious to see how long do 91B deploy for?Response by PVT Private RallyPoint Member made May 8 at 2020 12:52 PM2020-05-08T12:52:17-04:002020-05-08T12:52:17-04:002020-04-14T11:47:56-04:00
