What advice does anyone have about the 68W MOS? What should I be looking out for when I sign my enlistment contract?

I went to a recruiter (recruiter A) and he told me he couldn't guarantee me my top 3 MOS' so he told me to write down my top 5 and I gave him my top 10. He couldn't get me any of them and was pushing me towards a 25U. I live in a city bordering another state so I decided to go talk to another recruiter (recruiter B). Recruiter A found out I was meeting with another recruiter from a different state and called and all of a sudden had a 68W MOS for me. Recruiter B told me to make sure recruiter A isn't blowing smoke. I'm supposed to go sign my contract in 2 days at MEPS. Any advice regarding the MOS and what I should look out for when signing my contract?

Don't sign if it isn't what you want.

Also consider whether if your going to make the army a career or use it to advance yourself for other options may help what mos to pick if you qualify for them.

When you go in to sign your contract, you will be speaking with a career counselor at MEPS. They will explain your contract, the number of years, the MOS you're signing for, etc. If 68W is what you want but not in your contract, then don't sign it.

Your profile says you're a medic in the Guard with Army rank but you listed Air Force Units. I'm guessing you just picked things.
If you're joining the Guard then yes different recruiters in different states have different slots to fill.

If you're joining the Regular Army or reserve the slots the recruiters can fill due to their priority change often as well.

Bottom line, don't sign unless you get what you want.

PFC Private RallyPoint Member this is not unusual. You compared two states ARNG? That would explain why you got one yes and one no, two different manning requirements as they are filling specific unit shortages. If you are talking AD, I don think know.

You either get a contract for it or you don't. It's all written in the form And one attachment. If it isn't there, don't sign.
